July Favourites!

I wanted to start doing some blog posts aside my videos to provide some more information about the products just in case I miss anything! So here we go with the first blog post which is my July favourites!

Skin Care!

Simple night cream:

As I said in the video, I love the Simple skin care range! The lack of fragrance was not something that I was originally concerned with in my skin care routine however not having any scent in the products mean that there are less factors for my skin to contend with. When I was younger, I had to go really heavy with skin care and tended to stick with Lush skincare to keep fairly clear skin. Now, as I am in my early twenties, my skin is no where near as bad as it once was and in fact, using lots of products on my skin further aggravates it. The Simple range, as well as being totally affordable on a student budget, does exactly what I need it to do and this night cream is so thick and hydrating; My skin drinks it up overnight! My skin is now softer than ever without being laden down with product.

 Dove purely pampering body cream:

This is a re-purchase of sorts as I had previously owned this product in its tube-like packaging. This pot of product is ten times better as it means I can get all of the product out without wasting product. This product is so moisturizing and really was a savior when I got sun burnt as my skin just drank it up. Not only that, but its shea butter and vanilla scent is subtle enough not to interfere with any perfume or scents that you may be wearing for the day but adds a lovely note to your skin. Anyone who may be close to your skin would be able to smell it! It also hydrates after shaving leaving your skin so silky soft - you will not be able to stop touching your legs!

Beauty Products:

Insolence Perfume:

This perfume used to be my go-to scent for everyday use. As I have grown older, the sweet scent is not so great for my everyday scent as I felt I needed a calmer, more subtle scent however that does not mean I do not love this scent! It smells like palma violets (the violet sweets) and there are little other notes in the perfume. If you love sweet scents this is the perfume for you. As I mentioned, I now prefer to wear this scent in the evenings or if I am going out for a bit of fun and because I still love the scent. As this is on the more pricey side of perfumes, I would say this was a good thing!

MUA Pro-Brow kit:

I have never been into 'doing' my eyebrows as I felt it took to long to do and was just yet another thing to bother with when doing my makeup. Although I love doing my makeup and playing around with it but my eyebrows were not the center of my attention! However, this kit was so cheap and affordable and non-fuss so I picked it up to give it ago. I am so glad I did. It is so easy, the brush that it comes with is so easy to work with as it is angled - no need to buy any extra brushes! The wax and highlight is also really easy to use and looks fantastic when applied. The mirror within the compact is also magnified to a certain degree which, if you are out an about, once again makes application easy. If you are new to brow maintenance - I would recommend!

Barry M Speedy nail polish:

I will not go on for too long about these nail polishes as I can become evangelical about this range! The speedy line of polishes are quick drying nail polishes and they do not lie. I can paint my nails with this and get a great finish on them within five minutes. By the time you have finished painting the first coat on the last nail, the first nail is dry to continue with the second coat. The wide brush makes it easy to cover the nail quickly which may contribute to the quick dry finish. Like I have previously said, I wish there were more colours in this range as I would be purchasing them all! I hope Barry M really do continue with this line!

Hair Care:

Got 2 b guardian angel:

I have previously mentioned this product in a favourites last year and it has returned! This heat protection spray is one of the best smelling heat protective spray that I have ever used. There is not much else to rave about as it does its job! My hair does not feel stripped of any goodness when using this and heat which is about all you want from a heat protection spray. The smell is what makes this. I urge you, if you are looking for a heat protection product, smell this before you buy. Also take note of the cheap price! What more could you ask for.

Now I am not going to include the last favourites in this blog as they are well covered in the video and are a little bit of fun. I hope this blog aids anyone who watched my video! If you have not seen the video I will link it below. I hope that more blogs will follow this one up with the videos I put on my channel.
